I am a photographer for the United States Navy and I have always liked drawing and painting but could never achieve the visual effects in the mediums of pen and paint.

Around 1997 I was introduced to a wonderful piece of software called Adobe Photoshop 2.0. The Navy was taking steps to move into the digital photography age and I got a chance to use this program and I honed my skills with it over the years, learning to draw with it as well. Now I had a means to express what I wanted to convey on paper but didn't have the means or technique to do so.
